El tramo del río Ter que va desde el pantano de Susqueda hasta Bonmatí se considera una de las mejores zonas de pesca de trucha en Europa.

El agua del Ter tiene la temperatura ideal para la reproducción y proliferación de las truchas. En los últimos años, son muchos los visitantes que acuden a la zona para practicar esta modalidad de pesca sin muerte (las truchas se vuelven a tirar al río una vez pescadas).
