Durant la festa del Remei 2019 va tenir lloc la primera edició d' Anglès des d'una altra mirada, esdeveniment que pretén ser un espai on els veïns i veïnes d'Anglès, independentment de la seva provedència, la seva cultura o religió puguin trobar-se per compartir l'amor pel poble en el que viuen compartir la diversitat tot gaudint-la.

En aquesta trobada en Mostafa Shaimi, professor de la UDG, va donar la seva visió sobre el racisme. Els assistents van poder coneixer alguns alfabets del món i escoltar cançons del Cor Àkan, acabant la jornada amb una degustació de plats tradicionals.
